Application Fee - $50
To process your application for enrollment the fee of $50 must be submitted with your application form.
Supply Fee - $300
An annual supply fee of $300 per child is due at time of program acceptance. This fee is used to purchase expendable classroom supplies and nutritious snacks for the academic year. The supply fee will be prorated to $200 for students entering in January.
Initial Enrollment Fee - $600
New students entering the Schools will participate in an initial enrollment period to determine their readiness to participate in a Montessori-style learning program. The initial enrollment period consists of two classroom visits, the remainder of the initial month of enrollment (Schools program hours), and a knowledge-based assessment. Parents will be required to attend a New Parent Meeting scheduled during the orientation period, an assessment review with the lead teacher, and a meeting with the Schools director. The initial enrollment fee is considered as the first month's tuition and is applied towards the annual tuition.
Financial Aid
Financial aid is available to families that qualify to the extent that funds are available. Financial aid applications are available on-line through the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment Program and are due by May 1 with the application fee. Financial aid is available to students re-enrolling after the first complete year. Award notifications will be made at the end of May.
Fees are non-refundable should your application for enrollment be withdrawn.

Tuition Payment Plans
Annual Payment - One payment due at contract signing. Payments are accepted by check, money order, cash. Credit card payments are accepted on-line through the FACTS Tuition Management Program.
Semi-annual Installment - Two payments are due; the first on May 5, 2009 and the 2nd payment is due on December 5, 2009. Payments are accepted on-line through the FACTS Tuition Management Program.
Monthly Installments - Monthly installments are divided into equal payments (June - May) and drafted on the 5th of each month. Monthly accounts are accepted on-line through the FACTS Tuition Management Program. First payment drafted on June 5, 2009 and each month thereafter through May 5, 2010.
A 2.5% convenience fee will be added when paid by credit card.
Play Day Program - $40 per day
Our Play Day Program is available on a contractual basis at a rate of $40 per day for those students needing care on scheduled Schools closures (see calendar for specific days care is available). The fees are due at time of contract and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Late Payments
Tuition installments are collected only through the FACTS Tuition Management Program on the 5th of each month. Insufficient funds are considered late and will be charged at the rate of 10% of the monthly payment. In addition, checks or bank drafts returned for insufficient funds will be charged $25 per return. Bank drafts returned must be brought current to maintain student enrollment. Post dated checks are not accepted.
Withdrawal Policy
The following steps must be taken in the event you must withdraw your child from The Montessori Schools of Central Texas: 1. Submit a 30-day written notice to the Schools director along with a forwarding address, if moving. 2. A statement of your account balance will be mailed to your address reflecting balance due to fulfill your contractual agreement. 3. Person financially responsible has 10 days to pay the balance and close their account. 4. After account closure, a final statement will be mailed to the parent.
Schools programs are for five days per week, according to the published Schools calendar for a 12-month Schools term (June-May). Tuition and fees
will remain the same for the entire academic year program. There will be no reduction of tuition or fees for absences, holidays, withdrawal, or disenrollment. Tuition paid in advance is non-refundable and will be counted as a tax-deductible donation to a non-profit, tax exempt
501(c)(3) organization.
Tuition and fees will be prorated for students enrolled after the beginning of the Schools term. However, proration is set at full month increments. Optional participation in programs such as enrichment classes, book clubs, Schools photographs, Schools shirts, achievement tests, and field trips
may require extra fees.
